Dear Reader, I am so excited to present the biggest immersive textile art installation I have made so far! It is the second version of Over Connections. Made with yarn and triple the scale than the previous one, it is meant to give a tangible and embodied experience of interconnectivity both as an extension of our physical abilities and as a constriction of our physical life. More than a visual piece of art, this installation is made for visitors to touch, feel and wear, their presence being fully part of the artwork. I'm looking forward to seeing it come to life! Curated by Alix Voz, the installation is part of an exhibition titled Paralèlles: Unseen Feminine Forces presented at Cambridge Art Galleries alongside the work of two amazing artists Antonieta Grassi and Caroline Monnet 🤩 Let me know if you will join the opening reception on Saturday, October 4 from 11 am to 2 pm. Otherwise, you still have the chance to see it until the exhibition closes December 21, 2025. Even though nothing can replace the haptic experience, I will be sure to share pictures by email and on Instagram, so hang in there! Take care, carolina |

Curated by Alix Voz, it includes works by “three artists who have distinct practices but highlight the feminine forces that are often...
Dear Reader, Something I have been working on for over six months and haven't shared at all - there is only so much one can do - is the building of a new version of Over Connections, a fully immersive multi-sensorial knitted sculptural installation. This is going to be the largest installation I have brought to life so far! I am so excited to bring this piece to life and have people interact with it. I want to acknowledge that this would not have been possible without Zia Foley who diligently...
Dear Reader, When I first revealed my work on constellations, a colleague shared with me how it resonated with the book she was reading, Orbital by Samantha Harvey. Naturally, my curiosity led me to dive into this novel about the daily life of astronauts on the International Space Station orbiting Earth. Immersed in this universe that propelled me into space and gave me a vertiginous view of our existence and our planet, I realized how important it is to change our perspective. To celebrate...
