| Dear Reader, Something I have been working on for over six months and haven't shared at all - there is only so much one can do - is the building of a new version of Over Connections, a fully immersive multi-sensorial knitted sculptural installation. This is going to be the largest installation I have brought to life so far! I am so excited to bring this piece to life and have people interact with it. I want to acknowledge that this would not have been possible without Zia Foley who diligently assisted me for months to knit most of the individual elements that together will make up the pieces of the installation. Thank you Zia! The art installation will be on show at the Cambridge Art Galleries from October 2025 to January 2026 and I will share more details with you soon. Meanwhile, if you are in the Northern hemisphere, I hope you have been enjoying sunshine and warmth (or staying cool sheltered from smoke and burning heat). For my part, I will try to soak up as much solar energy and nature as I can for the rest of the summer. What are you up to this August? Feel free to share your wanderings or not. Either way, I’ll catch up with you after my summer break! Take care, carolina |

Curated by Alix Voz, it includes works by “three artists who have distinct practices but highlight the feminine forces that are often...
Dear Reader, I am so excited to present the biggest immersive textile art installation I have made so far! It is the second version of Over Connections. Made with yarn and triple the scale than the previous one, it is meant to give a tangible and embodied experience of interconnectivity both as an extension of our physical abilities and as a constriction of our physical life. More than a visual piece of art, this installation is made for visitors to touch, feel and wear, their presence being...
Dear Reader, When I first revealed my work on constellations, a colleague shared with me how it resonated with the book she was reading, Orbital by Samantha Harvey. Naturally, my curiosity led me to dive into this novel about the daily life of astronauts on the International Space Station orbiting Earth. Immersed in this universe that propelled me into space and gave me a vertiginous view of our existence and our planet, I realized how important it is to change our perspective. To celebrate...
